Guaranteed Irish have been performing Irish ballads and dance music for over 20 years. Their name refers to an Irish marketing effort similar to 'Made in America' and reflects their respect and passion for the music. Jimmy Lamb, Bruce Foley and Paddy Folan combine button accordion, guitars, uilleann pipes, whistles and voices in their own distinctive and energetic way to make a sound that is true to the traditions of Irish music. Whether singing traditional ballads or interpreting modern folk/rock/pop songs, their vocal harmonies are tight and spirited. With an easy, collaborative charm the lads are equally at home in a small session or on stage in a pub, concert hall or festival.

Guaranteed Irish have performed for enthusiastic and appreciative audiences at many festivals, concerts and pubs throughout the eastern USA and Ireland. They play primarily in their hometown of Pittsburgh but have journeyed to Cleveland, Detroit, New Orleans, Miami, Tampa and Boston. They have also enjoyed two tours of Ireland: most recently in September 2006 where they shared the stage with John Sheehan of the Dubliners at the Clifden Art's Festival. They have opened concerts for such notable acts as Paddy Reilly, Patrick Street and The Irish Rovers.

The last two winters found Guaranteed Irish playing around the Caribbean as part of the "Ireland at Sea" cruises. This has been an incredible amount of fun and music-making with fellow musicians and good friends. Check the Cruise link and join us next January for a guaranteed good time.
